Hi, I was wondering what the classifications of stakes are for micro and small - full ring NLH? I.e. though i appreciate there are no exact rules I'm wondering; at what point you can say your not in micro but in small etc as i would like to understand where i should contain my game (given normal guidance of bankroll mgmnt) if i improve and at what point the game ascends to small as opposed to micro etc. Does anyone know of guidance/info at all from 2nl up?

There's no exact range. This forums says micro is NL50 and below. Poker Stars says micro is NL15 and below.

You should really just move up stakes when you are comfortable moving up stakes, from both a bankroll and playing perspective. What kind of info and guidance are you looking for?

Well i know to only move up when doing well but just wondered really when there is a massive jump up in players skills etc. im only at 2nl so obviously nl15 feels way higher even if still micro. Only on 2nl and next up on 888 is 5nl which i do want to try. So i guess small starts from no more than 50cents big blinds

It really depends on what format and where you play though. Playing NL200 regular tables where players are anonymous seem soft to me. NL25 zoom is a bit tough on PS until it's night time when there are a lot of fish on. I don't think I could beat NL5 6max zoom right now though. I have no experience in that format and no knowledge of how to deal with the aggression of those type of players.
