Played this hand a couple of days ago, and still thinking about it.
8 handed $5-$10. Straddled pot.
Hero 30 yo reg has been active, no showdown yet.
Villain solid reg, like to 3 bet, didn't get out of line (yet).
Hero has $4500 behind. Villain easily covers.
Folded to hero on the button with AcAs. Raise to $75 (standard at table).
SB and BB fold. Villain on the straddle 3 bets to $275.
Hero 4 bets to $750. Villain calls.
Flop comes ThTc4c. Villain checks and hero c-bets $750. Villain calls.
Turn Ks. Villain checks and hero checks.
River is Qc. Villain leads for $1,600.
I'm pretty sure I'm beat at this point. Villain could very likely hold KK, QQ or Tx, and various flush draws. I have the Ac so block a lot of bluffs.
While it's a good price to call (is it?), I'm tempted to shove for $3000 total and potentially fold out trips or a baby flush. Not sure though if I have a big enough stack as villain will only have to call $1,400 more to win $7,500.
Would appreciate your thoughts on all streets*.
*(Yes, I thought about folding pre but decided against)
