Personally I think again we need an actual rule here because I see both sides of the argument. I think it is poor ettiquette to book someones list who very recently booked the same bet vs someone else without updating list but I think it probably should be action not sure?

One reason I always update my list if I book someone elses bets is for this exact reason. Although you guys probably just thought I was spamming my list lol.

Also UCLA is ****ing horrible. How does Alford still have a job. Did they hit 30 turnovers because it seemed like ****ing 30 turnovers. They lost fairly handily to a team whose best player was 1/15 with under a minute to go. I mean what in the ****. That is browns level ****.

I try to operate my own lists in this manner. And if I miss something, and an overbook occurs, I have a bigger sweat. Clearly nobody is on the hunt to intentionally overbook.

Bonaventure shot 38% overall and 21% from 3 and were outrebounded by 10. They won the game by 7. Incredible.

UCLA 14 more turnovers led to 10 more Bonnie FG attempts. I didn’t bet that game

I didn't have a list though. I had one game that I posted and booked 6 min later. I posted a want for 300 and then made a book of 300. I've never closed my action after this and this is first time I'm hearing about a rule to do so. I have confirmed bets as overbooks though in this very scenario.

I don't think Jaba intentionally overbooked. I didn't intend to have more than 300 on the game.

I've always assumed that is an overbook, and it's both incumbent on the booker of action to look at posts after the want is posted to make sure the poster didn't get filled, but also the poster or other posters to point out that it's an overbook.

I don't think I should have to edit out past posts or post an updated list every time I book someone's action that I posted a want for earlier.

Also, not sure if it's been X-Posted here, but Galen Hall is running 2 bracket pools in SE. $50 and $250 buyins each. $50 pool has over 100 entries already, $250 pool has around 40 already.

I do not want to type in my response which will say the same thing as Eddy and AP just in different words.
Absolutely agree with both.

Surely you can see an issue with having a secret rule that goes against etiquette and actual thread behavior.

There is no secret rule, I would say most of people if notice action posted is booked by the same person will not try to book it in the original action list, but may be some will, so, if you open action is closed for whatever reason you should update your list.

I'm going to say its secret because I didn't know about it (seems I'm not alone in this), thread behavior absolutely leads me to a different conclusion, and the rule itself goes against intuition -if I want 300 on a game, thats the amount I want.

To chime in on the overbook etc. Clearly common courtesy to consider when someone books something on their list below to not book their old list however I think it has been pretty standard that lists are considered open unless closed or a new list particularly for same sport closes above lists/action
