Yes, but why? I keep hearing this but don't really hear many arguments for it other than the bugs that TN2 had on release that seem to have been ironed out now.

Agree with Jon above. Subscription makes far more sense, and although it seems expensive, that's only because we're used to what we've been paying - which given the amount of support and constant updates that these programs need to proved, was probably way too little in the first place.

Some HUD stuff, position/situation based preset PF sizing etc... they have a free trial, have a look. Mostly the position/situation based sizings tbh for me.

I'll never get how RIO can let a guy like gogol's nose represent them. The amount of angle shooting/unethical stuff/grimming etc. that he is pulling is mind blowing.

They should have let the thread on his table behaviors open instead of closing it on the same day it was created... He should at the very least have to face some heat for being so scummy.

I'm planning on getting a laptop for grinding since I'm moving to another country for 5 months and cba to buy a desktop for just that period of time, would have to sell that when returning home but the laptop I can keep.

It only needs to be able to run hem2 without lagging, I currently have an ssd on my desktop with only pokerz and windows, but I'm clueless when it comes to laptops. Can I get an ssd on a laptop? Or is it going to be suboptimal to play on a laptop no matter what?

It is going to be slower (but not much slower) than your desktop but imo an SSD is imperative. I installed one on my laptop and can run both pt4 and hem on multiple sites with no lag. Would have been impossible without the SSD (at least on my laptop, a new Asus). I can't imagine not having an SSD now

I always think gogol plays bad on purpose in his videos. I dont mind him doing some fishmoves for the others to imitate. Or he's simply fishy, not sure.

in 2012, OTB_Redbaron set himself the challenge of playing 100k hands of 500nlz, winning at 6evbb (in an epic, now-closed PGC thread if anyone hasn't read it). Given that it's 2015 and OTB is OTB, what odds would people give on achieving 4evbb over 100k hands of 500nlz, all played within 30 days? Not necessarily planning on taking it on, just curious about opinions/interest

2, maybe 3 guys can make a legitimate claim to have beaten 500nlz for >4bb last year over a statistically relevant sample (with say a 70% confidence interval, which really isn't much). Amongst the higher volume players that number falls to 0, with very few even able to state with certainty that they're winning pre-rakeback.

it's easy for someone to win at 4evbb for 100k hands given say a 500k hand sample - variance exists. But to predict 4evbb in the next 100k hands ahead of time and then execute that, that's far more difficult, especially given the rake and reg:fish ratio of 500z.

I wouldnt ever bet on 100k sample against u bc that effectively gambling.

Would bet on 250k sample, max 2.5 months timeframe. That would be teh base. I assume ud get some action on tis dependant on odds
