What are ur thoughts on my line in this hand?

Villian is playing 17/10 with cbet stats of 72/61/43 and a afq of 51
He steals 32% and folds 60% when his cbet on flop is raised (10K+ hands)

I have been playing 18/16 which I assume is his read

My thoughts:

PREFLOP
I choose to call preflop, since I have 3bet him more then usual, and given his fold to cbet raise stat, I think that I can C/R him off a lot of flops


FLOP
I thinks he often havent his this flop, and all im gonna get is his cbet, so I choose to C/R hoping that he puts me on a semmibluff with a J and decides to call with a pair.

TURN
He called, so he got some kind of a hand. unfortunately the Q means that if I was succesful representing having a J for a semmibluff, he know has me on a str8 and properly wont pay me if I bet again. Therefore I decide to check the turn, and bet around 1/2 on riwer, to get a crying call out of overpair or set.

He bets when I check, and I put him on the following range:

Air, trying to rep the J - maybe he picked up a backdoor FD

Set, but that is somewhat unlikely since I expect a set to check here?

Overpair, that is trying to protect his hand.

I decided to call and bet real small on riwer, hoping he will call me down with a worse hand if he gets a really good price

CRAI turn goddammit! as played push river or check again if u want to be supertricky. Fishy river bet imo, "bet real small on the river" hmm, leaving him with 74 if he calls.

Have to raise that turn...you didnt..now you have to check that river..you didnt...good hand anyway.

after a 17/10 calls our c/r on this flop I'm giving him a pretty big hand, and definitely betting the turn. There's just so many hands that would peel a river trying to boat up or hoping you check a blank, and none of those hands should technically be betting this turn if you check to him.

I don't think you really induce that many river calls by checking the turn, if he calls river after you check turn he would most likely call a turnbet and even though it's unlikely you may get him to spaz out and give you two streets of value rather than just one. He's 17/10, tight/passive, his brain may just shut down and only see that he has a set/two pair

also lol at his halfpotting turn/folding riv. Villain seems really awful

why? Just giving up on getting value from anything? turning your hand into a bluff to try to get him to fold a chop?

Is there any hand at all you would ever c/r this turn that doesnt have a J? Doubt it
