I went to foxwoods this weekend and mentioned to a 1/2 dealer about what happened to HEK. He seemed to be well know and worked there for a while.

He said "Man I can't talk about that messed up situation". My take was more messed up from foxwoods side.

Yeah, me too. But, I also figured he would keep us all posted either way.

I tried it once and was told by the floorman (Tom) that they were not allowed to take tips. (I doubt they would chance losing their jobs by doing it.)

update: I'm not reinstated yet and it's been more difficult than I originally thought. I've taken and used a LOT of the good advice in this thread yet it just hasn't worked out yet, mostly due to foxwoods policy regarding bannings.

I've been told that I should write a second letter to Foxwoods and have poker or professional friends of mine write letters to them on my behalf. I should then submit it all to them as a package. That is supposed to carry the most bang for my buck.

So if you know me and want to help me out by writing a support letter for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Pm me if interested and I can provide more detail.

update 2: Life is just great since the FW situation. Games at Mohegan have been great on weekends and i've found some v juicy live games up around here. Also, I'm killing online again which personally feels wayyyy better than beating some soft 5/10 casino game.

But you have been banned, yet this Frankie guy who was found out and caught cheating and colluding in this very game was at the time playing a 5/10 game in the same room? Maybe i misread something, but why hasn't he been banned?

Frankie was accused of colluding in a game with another player, but when the floor saw the cards he could not see any reason to believe that he was cheating.

Based on what Hek has written, this cannot be called a scam. A scam is premeditated and planned out. The person that initiated this situation is Hek. He is the one that offered to do the "equity chop". The only way to call this a scam would be if Hek were scamming himself. It seems absurd to accuse Villian and especially Frankie Flowers of running a scam.

Hek wrote: "I explained that Foxwoods does not allow running it twice but they will allow us to do an EQUITY CHOP." However, when the floor manager (FM) arrived at the table, according to Hek, the FM stated: "We don't allow equity chops here (at Foxwoods)..." This is the first problem; Hek is saying to the other player (Villian) that Foxwoods "…will allow us to do an EQUITY CHOP", and then, the Foxwoods FM said "We don't allow equity chops here…" How can Hek state that Foxwoods allows an equity chop? Is Hek wrong, is he making this up, or is he hopping Foxwoods will allow an equity chop.

Hek seems intent on involving Frankie Flowers (FF) in this issue. Based on what Hek has written, FF had a financial arrangement with (Villian) the player Hek offered to do the equity chop with. Regardless of what FF said to Villian, and regardless of what FF told Villian to do is not relevant to what is decided between Hek and Villian.
The Foxwood management and the FM seemed to be clear about what was allowed in regards to any equity chopping. Hek also seems to have put Foxwood into a situation where they had to do something.
The punishment of being banned for life seems to be excessive and will hopefully be amended.
Equity chops are very rare because people who go to card clubs and casino poker rooms are there to play poker knowing that they risk losing their entire stake. Only very close friends who don’t want to take each other’s money will usually be the ones doing an equity chop.
Hek has to take responsibility for the mess he has created here.
