2/5 at Bellagio. Hero has a relatively tight image.

Hero opens from EP with KK to 20. MP loose reg calls. BB calls.
Pot=62. effective stack 500.
flop: K74
BB checks, Hero checks, MP bets 35, BB calls, Hero raises to 130, MP folds, BB folds.

Kind of a weird hand, I checked the flop because I held all the good cards and felt it was unlikely I would get called if i made a c-bet. Then when the BB calls I feel he has a flush draw a lot and that its better to just raise here and jam the turn. If the BB hadnt called I was planning to just check/call the flop vs the MP player.

Any thoughts on how I could have gotten more value? Should this just be a c-bet anyways?

There is nothing wrong with your line here.
If you want to get more value you can call this bet and lead any non spade turn. Tricky but you are never repping KK with call-lead there.

Don't take the check call lead. Being tricky is not a substitute for taking the best line. Sure you feel cool when he bluffraises on a 9 turn but mostly you are just losing value. Checkraise or is fine as played but be scared on a flush turn...

Think you played it fine

Seems like a silly line to me, we hate giving the free cards to all the draws and villain is going to have a weak range that often gives up to the raise

we don't have to cbet but I doubt we are getting max value with this raise (and sizing)

Check or cbet is dependent on your opponents tendencies here. I would default to cbetting live.
