I'd say right now it's billy. Its funny cause when I've been recently the 10-20 and 10-25 games much better than the 5-10 games.

Scott and Greg are the best players in the game now. Hanks and Billy are tough too.

I'm a long time lurker in HS forum. Used to frequent the 10/25-25/50 in 07. i recently moved back to NY and started playing in these games again. You guys know if Heath, Vinny, Andrew Micali, Andrew Song, Young Joe, and Ian are still in the game? Haven't seen them once.

young joe def still plays.. really nice dude. I'm not exactly sure what happened to warlock. Seems like he went from crushing 10-25+ last year to not being able to beat 5-10 this year. Good guy too tho.

This might be a dumb question..but with these stakes where im guessing there is only a limited number of players regularly ..how can 20 people collectively as being the best player..if the same people are constantly playing eachother..surely the money is either being passed around or someone is winning all the time no?

ok well i saw chip angel shoot and obvious amatuer (and extremely nice guy) out of 100 dollars in a 700 dollar pot which was pretty dispicable

turn 3rd spade
amatur bets out 100, chip says its his turn amtur apoligzies, chip checks, amatuer bets 100 chip calls
river 4th spade
amatur bets 100
again chip says its his turn but this time says
"that spade had to have saved your ass" and checks
amatuer apolgizes for betting out of turn and looks really embrrased and says hell check and taps the table (the buttons placement looked like chip either could have been the button or the small blind)
chips then says what do you have and the amature tables 86 no spade
with that chip tables 2 red queens and tells the amatuer his 100 dollar bet is binding and he has to throw another 100 in the pot, which he does

Haha just saw this thread. Funny/sad that players mentioned as best 10/25nl players are break even 5/10nl now.

Played with warlock recently at 5/10nl he crushed and booked. Pretty sure he said he moved to vegas. Young Joe plays 5/10nl mostly during the week and does well. Wayne moved to florida. I could go on but I doubt anyone cares

Funny that almost all of the people mentioned on the list basically went busto or had to drop down in limits due to the amounts that they lost. Five years ago just about everybody was a weak player. Just like online, people's game evolved and now everybody that is left is much better.
