Yeah, a post made in BBV (a forum that is modded WAAAAAY more loosely than the vast majority on 2+2) is in no way related to your post in Internet Poker. And FWIW, a BBV mod said in your ATF thread that he agreed it could've been deleted, but he was away when you reported it. Not sure why he didn't delete it subsequently; perhaps it might have something to do with your reaction.

But that's not for me to say, and doesn't in any way relate to the matter at hand - a small infraction for an insult that was starting a derail in a different forum. A little harsh? Probably. But as I said, that's how it works with posters that have been causing problems sometimes. You've already derailed that thread before, and I wanted to put a stop to it before it happened again. Sorry I hurt your feelings with my harsh treatment. But look on the bright side - I'm now able to make myself feel better knowing that I might be a jerk, but at least I'm a powerful jerk!

It has nothing to do with any desire - when you derail threads and cause problems, the consequences increase when it happens again.

There's no "might" here - your insult had elicited a response in kind, which I deleted when I infracted your post.

Your previous derail wasn't caused simply by you being wrong - it was you continuously calling people cheaters, resulting in multiple people asking for you to be kicked out of the thread and/or banned. And yet you didn't even get so much as an infraction for it - I guess my power-hungriness hadn't kicked in yet.
