Why was this thread about our podcast BY A FAN moved?

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/76...dcast-1229596/

Krantz has no relation to our show other than being a fan of it, someone explain to me how moving this to a relatively unviewed forum is anything other than protecting the 2p2 podcast? We offer a completely different show that is interesting and compelling to the majority of the poker world in a format unlike any other podcast (we barely even talk about poker)

2p2 has made a fortune off of the 100's of thousands of views my threads have received over the years so I think this is kind of protectionist bull****, LoL is for low content links to videos or websites that don't spur any type of substantive discussion. we provide a podcast that is 100% views and gossip meant for distribution and discussion!

Re: Why was this thread about our podcast BY A FAN moved?

Because it was posted in NVG without any substance or discussion related to NVG. If we allowed everyone to post a site they liked just because they liked it, NVG would be a spamfest. Out of respect to both you and Krantz I didn't delete it. Moved it with a redirect to a forum with a little wider latitude for these type of posts.

Pro tip: If someone posts a link to one of your podcasts and offers some opinion/discussion of a topic covered by that particular podcast, the thread would live.

Re: Why was this thread about our podcast BY A FAN moved?

Wow, someone sure has a chip on their shoulder. Rather than just PMing a mod and asking this question, or starting a thread politely doing so, you thought it would be best to start a thread accusing 2+2 of protecting their Podcast? Sigh.

And at 2+2 having "made a fortune off of the 100's of thousands of views my threads have received over the years", and the thought that this would make any difference in how the thread would've been treated even if it was true.

Re: Why was this thread about our podcast BY A FAN moved?

I already asked a mod who said the thread that was posted would be suitable for NVG, therefore I posted in ATF

Ah, well that's good to hear - might've been something to mention in your OP.

Anyway, PP's response seems pretty reasonable to me; the OP of that thread was pretty much "low content links to videos or websites".

No no clearly 2p2 did make a fortune. Sadly Mat and Bobo squandered it on an ill-conceived attempt to combine the disciplines of Connect Four and Curling.

It would have worked if you didn't try to stop them

I still think it would've worked if he hadn't kept insisting on placing the Connect Four game on the button so he could take it out.

if op never made a single post on this site, do you guys think 2p2s total revenue would be over/under $3.50 less than it actually is

I don't recall ATF's policy on personal attacks -- but you're a moran.

Truth.

So is that mod going to take care of things? Why are you posting in ATF?
