It's bad enough trying to read the all the actual lines of a masque post let alone reading between them as well.

Seems to be the answer. The userbase of 2+2 (imo) is people trying to say clever/funny things usually at the expense of someone else (see my post above that probably failed on both counts). Thin skinned and/or self important people tend to flame out. I think it's too late/impossible to try and change the culture of the site at this point.

Masque is friendly and brings ideas worth discussion to threads consistently. The scroll wheel defeats all his troll's reasons, assuming they even have reasons to state.

They are leaving a wasteland. Crisp, but waste.

Hadn't I been tougher, I would have been trolled out too. Only power is respected.

It has come to that. And I want to have the biggest, but genuinely accepting guys with smaller ones. I never know how good they are with their tongues. May be second there.

Some people dont want tolerance. They want to run people off, some even boast about it. 2+2 is great in part because it doesn't interfere much but there's no free lunch here.

It's of a reflection of society in general which is currently at the early stages of how to best organise social media. It's not just a 2+2 issue; trolling, bullying, abuse etc are a problem for all sites.

The loss of Bruce was brutal. I can't stand losing also masque. And a great deal of the rest with potential behaving like chezlaw pictured.

You are getting attacked without notice and supposed to fight yourself free, or lose.

It's not very intellectual to equal Brussels with EU. It's like equaling London with Britain. Was this fun enough?
