Where is johnny Hughes? Where is johnny Hughes?

His stories were always very interesting and informative. The problem was he would go on rants calling other writters like Mike Craig, Des Wilson, etc...liars. If you challenged anything he said...and he was not always accurate...you were called a liar, Texas hating commie. I miss his stories but not the abuse.

He tilts me to no end, his stories ramble on and on. He has a hard on for Michael Craig though.

I'm sure if you check his stats you can see when last he logged in. that should almost end the thread. Then someone can spot him at WSOP and completely end it.

Yeah, Isildur1 and I became friends after we met in an underground game in Uddevalla

It was pretty rough neighbourhood but luckily I packed my barking irons

I love Johnnys stories, and don't get the hatred either.

I'd love to be friends on Facebook with him, but a cursory search has revealed 41,000 Johnny Hughes. D0h!

+1. He's part of what NVG is about.

I think Johnny's stories are interesting and don't see why people are giving him such a hard time. I honestly don't see why any of you give anyone a hard time about their posts.

If everyone posted as often as I do, what the hell would we have to read??

He discovered that somebody who played poker in Texas during the 50s once told him a gambling story that was slightly exaggerated. While trying to reconcile this with his core belief that merely touching a playing card west of the Mississippi before 1973 made someone incapable of ever telling a story that wasn't 100% true in every single detail, his head exploded.

If the people who bitched about his posts posted stuff that was even a tenth as interesting, 2+2 would be infinitely better.

But hey, haters gonna hate...

since you all care about my opinion:
reading his posts make me feel embarassed for him.

He tried adding me about a year ago, i assume because my profile had poker mentioned somewhere in it. I never accepted because i had doubts it was him and might actually have been a phishing scam. Also because that'd be weird anyway.

I enjoyed his stories, but I didnt like how he trashed other writers. Its not even that he was disagree with what they wrote, he took it to a whole new personal level of attack. For that, I lost respect for him. If he just kept to posting his stories, I think he would be one of the most popular posters on here. He undermines any good he does. Sad really. "Old man yells at cloud" pretty much sums it up.

He's alive!

Hi Michael,
Johnny confirmed you as a friend on Facebook.

.......Hello all y'all! When I am not yelling at clouds, I keep researching...well, reading, and writing. Have you tried yelling at clouds? I'm from West Texas. Last week, we got six inches of rain, with flooding. You might yell at clouds too. I dig the photoshops on here, the best ever being the same guy several times at the poker table, and at the next poker table. Justin Bonnomo?

The haters are right about me. Wonder if any play heads up Texas Hold 'em? If it was a vote, I lost big time.

I'm writing each month for Bluff Europe in the mag and on the web site, my latest an update and new article about the Murder of Iron Drawers Shaw.

Keep up the good posts, TwoPlusTwo may hate me, but TwoPlusTwo rocks.
