When did mocking handicapped children become acceptable?

After seeing yet another picture of a handicapped child being used a joke in bbv i made this post

[**** bbv never actually posting in here again, i dont think i could look at myself in the mirror if i keep posting here. The humour just gone too far now, laughing at kids with down syndrome?seriously? I know most of you think your being edgy but anyone getting a kick outta that pic, is just wrong in the head

I can't in all good conciousness keep posting where the new in thing is laughing at people born with handicaps sorry, and mods need a look at themselves here.. I know bbv is the dumping ground but how far is this going to go? Are we trying to make this 4chan?

was just wondering why mods let the constant use of autism jokes and pictures of children with down syndrome go on in bbv?

Maybe im being soft skinned but i feel extremely angry when people are posting images of children with down syndrome, with 'witty captions' I know bbv is meant to be bad but come on its too far.

The funny thing is people got banned for using sigs as this apparently tilted and annoyed people, but the users who post images like the one above are applauded for their comic wit

So i genuinly want to know is this me over-reacting and this kinda thing is normal or is this just a bbv phase that only a few have jumped on

ps i have been posting since 2010 so am not new to bbv

Also how am i meant to know whats been removed when i clearly stated in the releveant thread i won't be posting in bbvanymore. Are you really that egotistical to think that although i won't be posting i still will be reading yours and your little friends amusing posts?

and its irrelvent if its been removed its time sanctions get dished out for people posting that stuff.

I don't see how posting childish crap like thoese images and screaming autisic in every post has any place in a poker forum even in a sub section.
