I forgot which mail i used for my BirdieLongSocks account.

Not quite sure on details, almost all posts (about 3.5k) are made in POG, I have never been banned, I made it in 05 or 06 i think.

Just reset my password for my account, and my username has been changed.... how do I get it changed to what it was back to originally??

LOL, no it hasn't, and no they're not. You more than likely registered more than one account over the years, and have forgotten which email is registered to your "primary" account.

Regardless, follow the instructions in the OP and we'll try to help you.
