I know which email address is linked to my LO account. I can't change it without my password though! Kind of a catch 22.

I can't access that account as it's an old hotmail address that was compromised and has since been deleted. I overlooked the fact that it was my only other means of accessing my 2+2 account! Of course, if my laptop hadn't completely died I'd have been able to salvage the password from there. But as things stand I'm kind of stuck.

So like any chance I can get my old acct back now? I can swear on my children's eyes that these dumb posts I've made over the last 3 years that are just like the dumb posts I made over the previous 9 years with my other account are not an elaborate ruse to steal Losing all's money and vast contact list. He has none of either. No idea what the email was, but I do know the PW, if that helps. Let's use some common sense and put a pioneer from 2003 back into his old account.

Don't know where to post this:

I used to have an account where my name was BurningSquirrel it was from 2008 - it got lost in the forum crash in 11 or 12? That's why I have this account - any chance to get the old one back?

I remembered that I could not activate it again because my email changed .. that's all I can remember - as you can see I was inactive the last years but planning on changing that.

Long time poster and contributor C-viggity lost his previous account and has been posting under the name digables.

He is looking to get the original account back.

Myself, and many others can confirm that digables and Cvig are the same person.

I'm SuperUberBob. My account is associated with a dead e-mail address. So when I ask for my password, it goes to an address that does not exist thus meaning that I have no way to log onto my account.

I see that PMing is restricted for members with a certain amount of posts. So, I couldn't contact Mat directly to solve the problem. So, this is the only way.

So I recently cleared my cache on my laptop and now can't log into my account. I'm sure I'm using the right password, but for whatever reason it isn't working.

If you are using Chrome or Android you can look up the password at https://passwords.google.com provided you remember your Google password. Your browser that you posted with will also have it saved locally. Go to the setting and search setting for passwords.

If it was around the 2012 era then it's because of the 2+2 hacking and then you have to contact a mod. If it was after then maybe use the email password change option.
