Just a quick note - details like your registration email, DOB you signed up with, and infraction history are all preferable to PM details. Giving it all is great, but don't leave out the first 3 for PM info instead - it's a lot more work to go through the PMs, and I'd prefer not to invade privacy like that when possible.

That said, there are times when even the first 3 aren't enough - if you aren't an IP match, you didn't sign up with a DOB, and you have no infractions, we'll probably need to go further.

Okay, I feel stupid right now. I can't find the option to send a PM via 2+2 forums, even though I'm logged on, obviously. I swear I've sent PMs before here, but I simply cannot find it. I click on Bobo's name and there's no 'Send PM' option there? Is there something that stops new accounts from PM'ing or could Firefox be stopping it? However I can't find 'send PM' option with Internet Explorer either...

I'm probably just blind. Could someone tell me where the send PM option is after going on person's profile page? Looked 20 times, sigh...

Considering we can't see your passwords, and all the passwords were reset anyway (if they weren't, you could just log in!), that wouldn't be much help.

But it says I need to reset my password when I try to log in with it and can't access on that e-mail I registered 2 years ago with anymore. Still unclear why I can't, simply it didn't accept my password anymore on that hotmail address so I suspect someone hacked it or stole the password.

Then obviously I never changed my 2p2 acc's e-mail to a new one and now i'm in this situation .
