very interesting...that was exactly what I speculated before as well...but i just saw this news about a $2.6M bar tab in St. Tropez, and I think this one is probably fake too... the establishments keep making these things up to entice/cajole? stupid billionaires to possibly spend more money on champagne?

The NY Post article says $2.6M was spent on $900 bottles of Cristal... that is 2500+ bottle...which is impossible to even drink in one night...you can't even spill that may bottles on the floor, let alone drink it..LOL... i guess the myth continues
