Iphone app keeps on crashing

Is the 2+2 app a custom tapatalk app? If so wouldnt it be easy to open 2+2 for tapatalk too?

Edit: is there a way to multiquote in the app? And a way to limit a search to a forum?

you cannot multiquote in the app.

it doesnt open in tapatalk because it has features that tapatalk doesnt

Which features?

To me the 2+2 app looks like a customized tapatalk app (own logo + branding removed = $799+)? Am I wrong?

Opening 2+2 for tapatalk would be free for 2+2 even if the app is not made by tapatalk.

Two more problems with the app:
- it crashes very often for no apparent reason (iphone 4s w current ios)
- spoilers are removed completely. This makes some threads unreadable.

Re: Viewing 2p2 from iphone/Android: Tapatalk

spoilers was a big part of the problem and why it needed a separate app. spoilers dont work correctly in the app anyway, but that was part

i think the symbols might have been the main problem.

regardless, a lot fo time was spent on the app, and several 2+2ers helped test it (atakdog i know was one).

They are apparantly testing an update as we speak

When writing long posts on iPhone you aren't able to see what you're writing once you reach a certain point. "open advanced options" covers the text.

I'm unable to adjust number of posts per page on iPad. Fwiw this occurs on iPad 2&3 but not iPhone. Just crashes to desktop. Is this a known bug?

Re: Viewing 2p2 from iphone/Android: Tapatalk

Hopefully this is the correct thread of the two to post this. Earlier today I got temp-banned (not complaining) for like 10-15 minutes, and happened to load the app during that period. I saw the "you've been banned from this forum" message and backed out of the app. When the ban lifted I loaded the app again, which I have set to load to my Favorite Forums and they were gone. Everything else was/is working fine, in fact my faved topics remained, but the faved forums didn't. It's not a big deal but thought I might as well post about it.

This is for the Android app.
