Anyone else having issues with tapatalk? It is asking me to log in (hasn't done that before), and when I do, it won't accept it.

I just updated and it only half remembered me. It knows what I've subscribed to but forgets what I've read, as if I'm not logged in.

I've seen this before. I un followed 2p2 and then added it back. This prompted me to login again. It's fine now.

There are settings to turn back on necessary features like participated, unread.

Recently updated Android and tapatalk. Now it says New Posts where it used to say Subscribed. No clue why. Looked at settings and couldn't see anything that'd fix it. Any idea what's up?

In the customize menu there are options for which tabs show up.

Got a warning today when accessing 2+2 on ipad via the app (I'll never remove it!) saying it would slow down my ipad. Any ideas?

I'd suggest that you just give it a shot and decide for yourself.

I've found that the app works fine on my oldest Android phone, but it exhibits increasingly buggy behavior on my newer Android devices. But in all cases, the app performance absolutely crushes the performance of accessing 2+2 via any browser I've used on my various windows machines, which of course have far, far more spare memory and available cycles than these silly phones/devices.

In fact, I keep this one very old phone around just because it provides the best 2+2 access. Yeah, I can't see polls and use all the features, but the thought of accessing the forums from a browser on a window box makes me feel generally ill. Far, far too slow.

How do you get the ignore feature to work on Tapatalk for Android?

I really would like to know as well. If I click on the person's name, there is an option to "Unignore/Unblock" that user, so Tapatalk knows he is currently on my 2+2 ignore list, yet I still see his posts.

Is the 2 + 2 app officially dead? Yesterday I opened the app on my phone and it made me log in. Today it wanted me to login again but when I tried it wouldn't let me. Now all I see is an error.

Same here, but the app will probably be fine soon. If I recall correctly, this happens yearly when the clocks advance to daylight savings time.

Sticking with no tapatalk and viewing forum as desktop. Bad experience here.

I tried taptalk when i first got my ipad. thought it was horrible, prefered just getting to 2+2 via browser, even when mobile. not perfect, but was better than taptalk. has anything changed with the app, over the last year or so ?

Without you specifying what issues you had, it's hard to say whether they have been resolved or improved.

Used to work an absolute charm, and was even better for browsing the site than the directly 2+2 URL.

Now, posts just don't load and it doesn;t appear to be the fault of the app.

He was possibly talking about the 2+2 app, not Tapatalk.

There are times when the app doesn't load a topic but a quick refresh usually fixes it.

Possibly, in which case a quick search or scrolling back a few posts itt would let him know that's not supported anymore.
