How do you add youtube videos to the video directory?

I have searched non stop and can not find the answer. I apologize in advance for a stupid question.

I understand you can use the in a post, my question is specific to the video directory.

Did you try clicking on the "New Video" button on the right hand side in this forum?

Did you try Video Directory --> New Video, and then get this when you tried to load a video?

Didn't try actually loading a video. Did you do this?

I keep getting this

I've tried the YouTube URL, the last part of the code, the embed link. No matter what I try I get this. I see some people are able to load YouTube videos in the directory but I'm pulling my hair out.

It says to paste the bb code; I can't find that on Youtube yet, but looking at one of the videos that works, I see this (I added the dot before "video"):

[.video=SAVE THE DAY Response]9648[/video]

But perhaps the forum's supposed to make that from the URL after you press "Load Information", which doesn't seem to be working for me.

Actually, the more I think about it, of course that's what it is. Never mind.

Remove the 's' from https at the start of the address and it'll work.

Guessing the url-checker hasn't been updated since youtube (and others) started using https instead of http.
