Weird question I guess?

I am cancelling the email service that this posting account is registered with. I want to switch it to one of my more active email accounts but it has one of my dumb gimmicks tied to it. Will switching the gimmick account's email free up that email to be used for this account?

I realize I could just start switching **** around and figure it out, but I feel like this is probably easier to get an answer and wastes less of my time (lol @ you!) if it's not possible.

I can't edit my options, I'd imagine much in the way that new accounts can't PM right away. Can this be turned on?

Thank you, friend. I just need it turned on if I can. Obviously I know they can't just switch emails around. I don't even mind if they can just nuke this account if it frees up the email. I don't care.

Thanks man. I wanted to stop paying that domain name and hosting for the last two years but always forgot to stop the auto-renew. Finally doing it this year after it just dinged my account today. It's amazing how much money I've left on the table for things like that just because I'm so lazy.
