Twoplustwo should have a reputation system - About the Forums

In the thread prior to the upgrade Mike Haven (I think) mentioned a reputation bar (I have these on other vBulletin forums I am on).

I understand gimmicks like this are the last in line to be fixed but were/are they going to be implmented? I mean everyone tells me I suck at posting and life but to see it in a bar form!!! It's gonna be too exciting for words

Rep system can be configured a lot of ways and is better than a 5 star rating thing, but there was never a lot of support for using it. People tend to be split down the middle about whether we should enable rep, so it remains disabled for the time being.

This forum has become too big in a way and looking through the strat forums there is a lot of bad advice. At the very least these forums need some way of displaying your reputation. Take a look at the bodybuilding forums for a good example. People can vote to increase your reputation, but only if they are 'recharged' themselves.

If someone gives what you think is good advice in a thread you can 'rep' that person and their reputation number increases.

Rollitup.org uses the rep system and is pretty much set up like 2+2 . But over there everyone is baked and they all get along . I think people would get mad at each other here , then start bad repping each other out of spite .
