I'm curious of the logic in this decision.

Mason would routinely get a "what would our advertisers think?" hair up his ass about scantily-clad women pictures in bbv4l and action was taken to preserve the forum/company in the eyes of advertisers.

LG points out that advertisers might not like to find their ads next to homophobic, white nationalist posting on this forum or whatever and instead of correcting the forum to preserve the company in the eyes of advertisers, LG gets nuked.

Aside from that not making sense, how does banning LG dissuade him from acting on his threat of drawing attention to the issue elsewhere?

lg actually posted a number bad reviews on amazon which included statements like: "...the company runs a creepy internet forum where posters discuss having sex with minors."

we were able to get the reviews removed. we didn't know who had posted them until he flat out admitted he had done so. further research proved it was him, though anyone who had wanted to take credit for those reviews and encouraged others to make them would have also been banned.

that was the sole reason for the ban. it was not because he was giving me a hard time about some of the content on the site. i didn't want to reveal this immediately to the public, as i worried that people upset about the ban might try something similar. i figured if a couple days passed before revealing the details, that might prevent someone making an emotional decision like that.

Mat have you considered that maybe you wouldn't have to fear people accurately describing the MULTIPLE subforums for right wing weirdos you've cultivated if you, I don't know, didn't do **** like mod chezlaw ? ****ing chezlaw!
