All I really wanted to do was take a picture from my iPhone and be able to post it to the forum quickly and easily. Sounds like there are extra steps in doing that. I tried photo bucket before, didn't like it.

There is an imgur app that you can fairly easily and anonymously upload a picture from your phone's camera. It gives you an URL where the uploaded image is stored on imgur. Copy that URL, then go to 2+2, paste the URL, add ".jpg" to the end, because for no good reason* imagur leave that off. Then add the IMG tags at the start end end of the URL like this

[img]Your imgur URL here[/img]

and you are ready to post.

(There is "advanced options" in the iPhone 2+2 app that should add the IMG tags for you, but it crashed twice when I tried to use it)




*I guess the reason is that the URL without ".jpg" takes you to the imgur website, but that doesn't work so well for linking an image in a 2+2 post

its a PITA, but typing in the [IMG][/IMG] tags manually works tho' ...

App crashed on me when I hit the IMG tag too. Sucks.
