Some ads. / Uptade: duh

I don't know which ads there are, but about 1/10 times I access the forums my Chrome browser warns me that "this page has insecure content". See screenshot below. This is really annoying. Is there any way you guys could get to the bottom of which ad it is and remove them?

Re: Some ads

post a link to the thread to make it easier to figure out which ad it is.

It's not one thread, it's random.

Try this page: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...3&postcount=35

Edit: It's the only possibly suspect link on page http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/35.../#post33307557 that I could find.

Re: Some ads

i believe that warning pops up because of links within threads. next time it happens, post a link to whatever page you are on, and take a screenshot, please.

Re: Some ads

I think this can happen when there is a mix of a secure connection (https) and standard insecure (http) on the same page. There could also be something screwed up with your browser. It could be caused by a funky advert.

I have never seen it happen on 2+2 so I would suggest trying another browser on the same page and let us know if it happens there as well.

You can also try the tried and true, log out, clear cookies and cache, restart browser to see it that clears it.

Re: Some ads

Yeah, just want to update. It was on my side on the Chrome browser. I am not 100% what caused it, but it certainly wasn't 2p2. Sorry about that.
