So Many Viewers, So Little Posting

I'm amazed how dead 2plus2 seems to be since its return. A lot of viewing, but not much posting. Is it because people just forgot their email passwords, can't get their original names back, and just don't want to post under a new name, do you think?

I imagine a **** tonne of people dont have access to their account because of the password change. They probably dont know to deal with it or are too lazy to figure it out and start a new account. But yeah ive noticed its so dead it hurts. I wasnt even going to bother going through the hassle of getting my password back and just let 2p2 go like a leaf in the wind. However BBV was dying, there were only a couple posts per hour and most of them ****ty. I could not let it die without a fight.

I highly doubt people got addicted to pocket 5's and decided not to come back

Yeah the forced password change was probably one of those things that is going to stick with the community for years to come.

No, I'm not saying 2p2 is dying, but this was a major culling and we're going to be noticing it for a long while in one form or another.

Keep in mind also that an email hasn't gone out yet to all of our posters letting them know the forums are back, how to get a new password, etc. That's being held off until things are a little more under control and TPTB have the time to handle the extra work that will bring, but hopefully it happens soon.

Besides the passwords problem there is also a thing that a lot of discussions got interrupted and now they are not getting continued. As soon as people get new subjects to argue about it will be better.
