Request my thread in SMP be deleted.

I want my thread in SMP to be deleted. I gained the views I was looking for and now it's getting off topic and I see no gain anymore coming of it.

If you're upset that it got off topic, you should take it up with the person who started talking about organic food, fluoride and who knows what else when the OP was talking about a different conspiracy theory (misreading/misinterpreting radiation levels).

lol, guess you just have to carry your burden. We already have respectable posters who have posted in the thread.

Re: Request my thread in SMP be deleted.

People should take the point of view that starting a thread doesn't really give you any ownership of that thread. You made the OP, where it goes from there and how appropriate it is will be determined by the mod and the community. If it goes off topic it doesn't somehow make an OP less valid.

If you do want a thread to stay on topic, then be aggressive in notifying the mods of the inappropriate posts.

This is the OP's post #5 in a thread about radiation levels...

You can always click the triangle ! on the left hand of your op and write in the message you would like your thread locked. The mods may lock it.

I hope I am not beat up now for giving you an informative response. Oh dear, what have I done?

Wow.

I just read the thread.

What his OP ITT really means is "People pointed out that I'm a total conspiracy troll and I don't like it".

Re: Request my thread in SMP be deleted.

I received a PM from the OP on 02-03-2012 02:30 PM with a request to delete a thread he had started in SMP. I deleted the thread - Did not know of this request in ATF until today.

Points taken. And if this is more less the guiding policy (and a reasonable one); then my mistake. Sorry for the mess up.

The thread in question has been undeleted and merged into the Outer limits thread for further discussion as warranted by the respondents and/or others.

I think this should settle the matter. And 1ns71nct should learn to live with what he posts. As we all should.
