Re-Merge Social Community Forums? - About the Forums

I'm talking about OOT, The Lounge, and EDF.

Has this been brought up before? I don't think there are enough posters or active threads to justify having these three separate subforums. I think that the community as a whole might benefit from merging them back together.

What do you think?

Why? What did The Lounge and EDF ever do to you?

Seriously, though, are we sure the positives would be greater than the negatives? While neither of those forums are bustling, they are communities - will those posters come over to OOT, or will we lose many of them?

There has been a lot of discussion of forum reorganization in the mod forum recently, and some of it has started with merging of a few strat forums. I plan to start a new thread shortly with some ideas that have been discussed for the rest of the forums.

My main reason for wanting to merge them is because I'm tired of having to click on all three of them to see what's going on. Put it all in the same place, I say!

Yeah, I could see how that would make sense for you, definitely. I suspect you're in the minority in reading all 3, but maybe we'll learn otherwise in this thread.
