I haven't read the posts after this yet, but you've got some explaining to do. But fyi, Africa was prospering before colonial invaders came along. Most of the problems in Africa isn't self-inflicted, they're a result of what outsiders (white men) did to the continent. I don't think he favors slavery. I don't think he has any problem at all with black people who he thinks behave and think admirably. And that makes him not a racist, at least semantically speaking. But it appears that he has some offensive opinions about minorities who he thinks don't act admirably. As far as their number and whether the blame for that might fall not as much on their own shoulders as he thinks.
