Been going on for 1-2 weeks now. I'd assume it's likely a problem on my end somehow since I haven't seen anyone else mention it. But there it is. Info about your site provided to you in a kind and gentle manner.

It's been brought up in here. Are you browsing in incognito mode?

I've noticed some issues with this too, sometimes, just going to a new forum it sends me to the bottom of the forum. I've also noticed sometimes it takes me to earlier posts that I have already read, nothing consistent or that I have been able to recreate but definitely weird behaviors.

I'm not in incognito mode but am using firefox, could try another browser. I haven't noticed any issues today.

I don't even know what incognito mode is, so definitely not that but I'd assume that's where you're on but like hidden somehow. I don't do that. Nothing to hide here. Since 5% of the forum thinks that 95% of the forum hates me and wants me permabanned there is no point. (Which I said I'd love to see stats showing that more than 75% of the forum has been active in the last 3 months cuz it doesn't seem that way)

But sorry for the short derail - that comment by that person riled me up. Also, sorry for asking a question that was already asked. It wasn't recent because I went through at least top 3 or 4 pages on here and didn't see it.

So I guess they're working on it? Was NEVER a problem for me before. ALWAYS worked perfectly. Only exception was if the last post I saw was NOT on the last page and I clicked from subscriptions directly onto the last page it did NOT work. But no worries, I learned my lesson and if it seemed like I was at least a page behind, click on 1st page, then unread and went right to the correct spot. But been "glitchy" lately and not really working for me ATM.

Appreciate the input - now word on a fix would be ideal.

Incognito mode is a feature available in your browser that hides your history and people who use it to browse 2p2 have reported problems similar to yours. No wonder that comment got you riled up.

Also, "it has been brought up in here" refers to a thread on the first page from 3 weeks ago.

first part - okay, yeah I don't do that

second part - that's weird, I did make a point to browse the first three pages, but didn't read it all just guesses based on titles. So they either weren't obvious in the title or I'm just stupid and missed it. Either way, it all flows the same place no matter how you look at it.
