His "threat" was also specifically referring to files of your posts, not files on personal information. AFAIK, spank has not ever threatened any user as Bruce did pvn, whether as a mod or not.

The threat is that someone that unbalanced who dedicated 8 months to trolling a forum now has access to sensitive information and no one from admins to mods seems to give a ****. It's literally a joke to y'all.

SMP had an undertone of uncomfortable borderline racism at the time, glad it's over now. This process helped that happen, but a bit too brutally. In his case I just don't think the substance was big enough for the persecution he became the subject of. Difficult to handle for any normal human being. Only those with a bit extraordinary psychological abilities can survive something like that.

And knowing Bruce's extraordinary sharp and questioning intellect, I can understand he might have pushed his analyses a bit too far. Probably he's a conservative, and doesn't have a particularly strong anti-racist view though (I'm for example clearly anti-racist), but I really think it's close to neutral. The analytical posts just made him look bad. Then losing temper when being to the greatest part falsely accused...
