That description of events is very interesting, and now I'm going to respond since you are basically accusing me of misconduct by modding something *I* was involved in, which is bull****.
The 20K1 didn't matter. What people (mainly Donk) were going for was post number 20000. Donk got that post, I didn't. And note that this was well understood because once you guys played your games Donk thought that *I* deleted posts to make mine 20000, which obviously wouldn't have been necessary if post 20001 was the one that mattered. (Note also that I had no idea that posts were deleted until Donk complained, so it is not as if I gave a **** about post 20001 or even did anything with it.)
"Don't delete posts to affect a snipe" was a rule understood by virtually all regular Pub posters of any reasonable tenure. Also, Aksdal deleted one and I undeleted it. So even people that didn't know of the rule knew that deleted posts would be undeleted.
By your own admission you got the idea in Skypechat that it would be simply hilarious to delete posts en masse to **** with the snipe in general and me in particular.
This despite you knowing both the rule and that I had undeleted Aksdal's post. In other words, you were trolling, pure and simple.
You and your buddies got banned so that you wouldn't continue to delete posts. Had you reacted reasonably and used a gimmick to inquire by PM (or just ask one of your buddies to do so instead of what they did) you would have known that the bans would have been lifted in an hour or two before I sent to bed. Moreover, when the only person who did send a PM about it asked I said that you could continue to post on the George R.R. Martin account, so this "ongoing game" bull**** -- even if it had merit, which it doesn't -- is a complete red herring.
The overarching story of what happened here is that gder got properly banned for a rape joke, and rather than accept it he decided that when his ban expired he would try make posts mentioning "rape" as much as possible to push the envelope. So he got another ban, which was also warranted, and he got butthurt and you and his other Skypechat friends got butthurt. So you decided to **** around in contravention of rules you knew of because you felt like trolling. Well, guess what? You got banned because of it.
It could have been just for an hour or two, but a bunch people showed their lack of class, a bunch of others did show some class, and I decided that I didn't want to spend my free time modding anymore.
All in all, I'm comfortable that in my time on POG and 2+2 I've shown what kind of person I am. And now you et al. have shown what kind of people you are.
