Just a suggestion, but, maybe before clicking "Submit reply" it might be a good idea to re-read your post and double check that it is actually understandable.

I think you're complaining about containment threads, which certainly have their usage for stupid and/or recurring topics especially those likely to derail other threads or create mass flamage. However, the lack of specificity makes it impossible discuss any further. And the second half of your post is just straight up jibberish.

Oh, and, "What did the mods of whatever unspecified forum you're whining about say when you PM'ed them?"

OP, I'm not surprised to find that 27 of your posts are creating new threads - in fact, that's exactly what I expected to find. You appear to be like a lot of other people are when they first come to our forums in that they think the best way to get questions answered is to start a new thread. Once you're here for a while, you'll discover that isn't the case.

First of all, if there is a thread that is used to contain a certain topic, that's where everyone who likes to discuss that topic will be found. No one needs to "find" your question in a thread of thousands of posts - regulars of the forum use the "go to first new post" feature and will all see your question just as well as if you had started a new thread. In fact, they might be more likely to see it, as it will be in a thread they regularly read, whereas your new thread may quickly drop off the first page in a busy forum.

Aside from that, the other reason threads are "grouped" is because we have forums with thousands of threads, and the last thing we need is dozens of threads about the same topic. It make it harder to find answers as you have to search multiple threads, it clutters the forums, and it will sometimes lead to the same conversation taking place in multiple threads, often covering the same ground.

Cliffs: Threads aren't being grouped to make things more difficult - it usually makes things easier for everyone.

Grouping treads - is that what happens when tires are put in a pile?

If so, should they just all be grouped together, or separated into their respective subgroups, such as white walls, steel belted, snow tires, bicycle tires, etc.?
