I got a ban for doing what Mr Wookie is doing to me from Mr Wookie. I guess there is one rule of behavior for them and liberals on this site and all others have to shut up and obey or be banned.

On the The Resistance: Actvism, protests and more! Thread

I'm not happy about that anymore. I used to think part of moving the country forward meant someone had to start with being the bigger person and making sacrifices in the interest of the common good, and maybe others would follow.

8 years later, seems pretty clear that isn't happening. Republican-controlled states are getting even worse with vote suppression and don't appear to give the slightest amount of ****s about making elections more fair.

California voted 62-33 for Clinton, and 25% of its Congressional delegation is Republicans. A little less than the popular vote share, but reasonable.

Meanwhile, in North Carolina, Trump edged out a 51-47 win. 3 of their 13 representatives are Democrats. Same story in razor-thin and Republican-controlled (at the state level) Michigan - 9 Republicans, 5 Democrats. Pennsylvania, where Republicans had full control of 2011 redistricting: 13 Republicans, 6 Democrats.

So, **** it. **** California's fair districts:

Take these ****s in the Sierras and mesh each part of them with a different area of Sacramento. Take Darrell Issa's district in armed forces-heavy north San Diego County and figure out how to snake it through to include East Los Angeles. Send 50 Democrats and 3 Republicans to Washington and tell the red states we'll cease and desist when they do it too. Make it a compact like the national popular vote one.

So ****ing frustrating when only one group cares about working to the betterment of the country.

You are a ideological one side flack who can't think straight. You probably think that anyone who thinks different than you has a devil tail. And you have no knowledge of population geography that goes into distracting. Also you must think that when the Dems are in charge they are perfectly honest and fair. You want to gerrymander California so you show yourself to be a political hack. And you are very ignorant as well. You didn't have the guts to serve your country but, if you did you'd know that military people keep the state residency of the state they enlisted from. So they vote absentee in local and national elections. Happy Veterans Day from a disabled vet who joined to protect democracy from someone like you who doesn't believe in it.

You certainly make a compelling case.

Right, your sarcasm is warranted. With that stated, in your view, what should a compelling case consist of?

Coherent sentences and an actual comparison of the posts in question would be a start.

The only way to win the politards subforum game is not to play.

Or read the rules sticky and act like an adult.

Both good options.

should there be a third politics forum to handle complaints about the politics forums?

This is correct unfortunately.

Personal attacks by the left are tolerated in that particular forum. Personal attacks by the right are not. Once you realize that fact, it's simply just a matter of deciding if you think it's worthwhile posting there or not.

As is quite obvious to anyone familiar with the forum, most right wingers decide it is not and keep away.

Yeah, very good if you like echo-chambers.

Many do apparently.

No, but there should be a second ATF to complain about politics complaint threads in ATF

Those right-wingers always complaining about the pc police need their safe space whenever someone criticizes them.

ok gregorio. you deserve some education here before given a time out warning. those "right wingers" is a problem. some of those right wingers are wrong wingers and would prefer to be described as such. saying always is simply not correct. sometimes the wrong wingers sleep. i'm not sure why you make reference to the peacock police, but i don't think they are represented here, and you will not attack them again.

then you proceed to say some of these entities need a safe space. accusing people of possessing this sort of disability is a no no go go in these parts. if somebody needs or WANTS a safe space they should and will always have one. in my pants. not up to you to slap these labels all over the place.

now you are correct that nobody should be criticizing anyone, so please don't think i am criticizing you. i am simply educating you and explaining that there is a possibility of a time out in your future. i hope you understand this extremely well.

Seems like it, 2 active ATF threads and counting. These politards just can't seem to control their compulsive arguing, kinda sad.

Nope. Just a level playing field would stop most of the complaints.

Not too much to ask for is it?

Not sure if poking fun at self or if genuinely thinks he's not a politard

There's a level playing field in Pv7.0

It has a political correctness which you may object to but as a poster you will be treated equally whether I agree with you or not. We have threads with minimal 'making it about the user' and threads where both sides can get stuck in.

There's also a thread where posters can complain about the forum and it's moderation without any fear of sanction.

I agree with you chez. That's why you tend to see a healthy diversity of opinions and posters from both sides of the political spectrum in Pv7.0.

I was referring to the main P forum with my comments not Pv7.0.

This of course means that the alt-right are treated as special snow flakes, and anyone who points out their bigotry is silenced. I'm sure some people will appreciate chez's doublespeak. Namely, those who benefit from his obvious, incessant lying.
02-19-2017 , 02:06 AM
That's not at all true Noodle but it's no big surprise that those who want special treatment for themselves don't appreciate being treated as equals.
