The answer to this enforcement of the rules that is biased against conservatives is to be the better person and not engage in personal attacks. Liberals do it unchecked because that is considered the morally superior position to us conservatives (or bigots or sexists or homophobes or racists or whatever other inaccurate noun the Left prefers to use instead of conservatives). It is much easier to infract "The Other" than "One of the Good Guys." That's just human nature.

Bottom line, use this disparate treatment to our advantage. Continue to take the high ground. Let them retort with desperate ad hominems as usual. It just shows the correctness of our position that they have nothing with which to argue. When you match their low, you only play into their trap, because now they have you in violation of site rules dead to rights.

Let them do the evil they do (personal attacks and then unfairly getting away with it because they are of the supposedly correct philosophy). Stick to issues and objective analysis and we win every time.

The Left got absolutely shellacked in the American election in November, even by their own admission. Let's give them some slack to be biased toward their own. Let's just nod and smile. And ultimately, it's not a 1st amendment zone, as this is private property.

Be very afraid when they start all becoming like eyebooger and don't stoop to lows in the defense of their incorrect position. Then you actually have to show your work and engage the argument. But usually they don't post as well as he does, and you end up winning by default (e.g., [conservative argument 1] followed by [liberal rant, rave, personal attack, logical fallacy, etc] instead of [liberal rebuttal to conservative argument 1].

Ask yourself why you would participate in such a forum where you're treated like human garbage?

almost for the same reason Christian missionaries go to the DPRK, only on a much smaller scale

Have you ever heard the term "unreliable narrator"?

Haven't been to any conservative sites? There are plenty of places where the scrips are flipped and things lean right and its left leaning poster getting banned.

Twoplustwo is not a politically affiliated site. It's a poker/gambling site with a non-partisan politics forum, that is moderated with a heavily left-wing bias.

nope. it has a bias towards reality.

I'm not even trying to argue that conservative is better than liberal here. I am arguing that a site should promote diversity of opinion, not suppress it.

You're absolutely right.

Funny, 'cause last time you came into the politics forum you made up a bunch of unfunny gimmick accounts and posted trolling gibberish.

No, it has a bias toward acting like an adult. The vast majority of our conservative posters can't manage acting that way and thus run afoul of the forum's rules. A fair number of liberal posters can't manage it either and get lots of actions on their accounts.

MD's a conservative now.

Don't forget Shame Trolley !!!1!. Select members have a license to troll. I mean, his name basically has troll written all over it (formerly MissleDog).

Has not been my experience.

Noodle, you should give one of those fascinating TED talks on how to act like an adult. You've definitely proven your expertise in that field here on 2p2.

kioshk

Who else is going to give the TED talk if not Noodle? I mean, clearly the only candidate.
