Is the ability to name hands at showdown (i.e xx shows (As Ks) and wins $$$ with a flush, ace high), still going to be implemented? The converter we use in the high stakes thread is down atm, but PLOtards (such as myself) can't work out what anybody has with this converter

Hand Converter Not Working?

I'm trying to use the Hand converter to post some hands, and when I click the link nothing pops up like it says in the Sticky on the forum. I use google chrome as a browser on Windows 7. Any ideas?

Does it work with a different browser?
Can you copy the link manually to the adress bar and try to open it?

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/23...-hand-1015288/

It is counting the antes (9 * 75 = 675), but it is missing the the 1800 chips from the blinds which are also paid before the cards are dealt.

*snipped out a whole bunch of my tl;dr gibberish*
Any further news on fixing this?

This problem was notified over four months ago. If you can't (or won't) fix it then can we please just go back to the old converter, which actually calculated the pot correctly.

It's utterly absurd that the biggest poker strategy discussion forum on the internet doesn't have a properly functioning hand converter.

I am sorry for the problems. This was actually fixed a few weeks ago by one of the developers but it looks like it did not get pushed live. It should be updated soon.

Re: **** Official Two Plus Two Hand Converter (Powered By Hold'em Manager) ****

Hmm, so I just picked first random hand I found from my history with play on all streets and...

    Poker Stars, $150 Buy-in (50/100 blinds, 10 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 9 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #10560632

    CO: 1,534 (15.3 bb)
    BTN: 2,865 (28.7 bb)
    SB: 4,694 (46.9 bb)
    Hero (BB): 3,474 (34.7 bb)
    UTG+1: 8,218 (82.2 bb)
    UTG+2: 2,168 (21.7 bb)
    MP1: 2,209 (22.1 bb)
    MP2: 2,662 (26.6 bb)
    MP3: 4,056 (40.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T J
7 folds, SB raises to 200, Hero calls 100

    Flop: (490) 4 3 J (2 players)
SB bets 258, Hero calls 258

    Turn: (1,006) 6 (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks

    River: (1,006) 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 440, SB folds

    Results: 1,006 pot
    Final Board: 4 3 J 6 8
SB mucked and lost (-468 net)
    Hero mucked T J and won 1,006 (538 net)

Get the Flash Player to use the Hold'em Manager Replayer.

Despite the actual preflop pot starting at 100(BB) + 50(SB) + 9*10(antes) = 240, the converter now has no preflop potsize information at all. So I guess it's still not quite right.

For comparison, here is the very same hand converted using the old DC converter at handconverter.com

    Poker Stars $150+$12 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t50/t100 Blinds + t10 - 9 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

    CO: t1534 M = 6.39
    BTN: t2865 M = 11.94
    SB: t4694 M = 19.56
    Hero (BB): t3474 M = 14.47
    UTG: t8218 M = 34.24
    UTG+1: t2168 M = 9.03
    UTG+2: t2209 M = 9.20
    MP1: t2662 M = 11.09
    MP2: t4056 M = 16.90

Pre Flop: (t240) Hero is BB with T J
7 folds, SB raises to t200, Hero calls t100

    Flop: (t490) 4 3 J (2 players)
SB bets t258, Hero calls t258

    Turn: (t1006) 6 (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks

    River: (t1006) 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t440, SB folds

    Final Pot: t1006
    Hero mucks T J
    Hero wins t1006

You can see that this version has the correct t240 starting pot before the preflop betting action begins.

Is there a way to copy a HH out of the chatbox on a merge site, and convert it?

I doubt if this is, or ever could be, possible. You need to copy the hand history in it's original format for the converter to work.

Yeah, dumb question, but I'm on mac and don't have HEM or PT and there's no way to get clean HH's being such.

Ahh, yes that would definitely make things difficult. I have no actual MAC experience so take this with a grain of salt: The only thing I could think to try (and have no way to know if it would work for sure) would be to copy the hand from the original file or to try something like the TAIL command to monitor the recent portions of the HH file - http://guides.macrumors.com/tail
