Yes, that is what you will have to do or export it from the HM2 Hand History Viewer (right-click > View) into 2+2 format then paste it here to save the weaktight step.

Which site/games are you playing? How are you copying from HM2 exactly? Does the converter give an error?

There are a couple sites that have known issues, like IPoker mentioned above as it recently changed hand history formats. If you are using right-click > copy then pasting into the converter, or nothing at all is happening, then you will want to send us some original hands for testing and use the hand history viewer method to copy to your clipboard in 2+2 format as shown in the post above yours until our developers have time to work on the converter issues.

If you continue to have problems please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31 or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

I select the Hand History Converter link, paste my hand history text (copied from holdem manager), and click Convert Hand History. Nothing happens. User error? Or glitch in the matrix?

For now you will most likely need to use the Hand History Viewer's export to 2+2 format option as shown in the image I posted a few posts above.

I'm not sure how you got to the view in your screen shot, but I believe that comes from the HUD list of previous winners in pots while in-game. This is an old hand in the database. From what I can see, my only options are to right click the hand and copy, or open the hand in the replayer and select export. Neither of these options work.

The converter doesn't throw any errors. I open up the converter, paste the hand history, and when I click the button "Convert Hand History" with the default settings, nothing happens.

I'm playing on WPN (blackchip) btw. Here's the text of the hand history.

No need to send the hand. We already documented this issue with WPN hands for the developers but they are focused on HM3 Beta projects right now.

may be a silly question but was wondering if anyone knew if you can convert a live hand, or a hand from an untracked site or do you just have to write the hand history out yourself?

either using this holdem manager software or another software and like if you type the hand out and put it in the converter does that work maybe.

cheers

You would have to write it out exactly like a supported site's hand history file. I am not aware of any site or software that you can input the actions to generate a supported hand history.

Hello,

when I want to post a hand in the forum, the hand importing doesn't work. It just says following: 'Not Found - The requested URL /pokertools/import/twoplustwo/integration was not found on this server.'

Do you know where might be the problem? I'm using Chrome, the same problem remains with IE. A few days ago everything worked perfectly.

Thanks for your help.

I have the basic HM2 and find that it keeps stats on occasion when I play PLO8 on Black Chip Poker. Will I possibly be able to convert those hands to this site or do I need to upgrade to the Omaha Manager to be able to convert holdem hands and PLO8?

Also, being a noob and have never converted a hh to this site before....am I correct that for Black Chip Poker (using Holdem Manager 2) I can just copy and paste that hand history from the HM2 clipboard into a post on here using the blue hand history converter or do I need to still go to a site like deuces cracked and click the 2+2 output, convert it there and then post it here?

The 2+2 hand history converter is still broken as mentioned in the few posts above. I will bump this issue with our developers.

If you have the holdem only version of HM2 you won't be able to see Omaha hands in the reports even though you see a HUD when playing. To post Omaha hands you would need to upgrade HM2 to include Omaha support or you would need to find the original HH file in the C:\HM2Archive folder and use a different HH Converter site until the converter here is fixed.

To convert a Holdem hand from HM2 to 2+2 right-click it in any report > View to open the hand history viewer. In the lower right corner are some icons. You want to use the up/down arrows 2nd from the left to choose 'Two Plus Two (2+2)' format then use the icon to the far left to copy the hand to your Windows Clipboard so you can paste it into the forums:

The HH converter in the HM3 beta seems to have some issues. Most of the omaha hands I try to convert just end up saying "Error: import failed."

But the holdem hands seem fine and *some* of the omaha hands are okay.

My best guess as to the connection is that the hands imported by HM3 seem to be the ones not working, but the ones imported from my old HM2 database seem fine.

What sites/games are the hands played at and what method are you using to export/convert from HM3 exactly?

Here is a recent WPN Cash hand that was imported live by HM3 that I exported from the HH Viewer in HM3 to 2+2 format that seems to convert properly for me.

Thank you for the video but this doesn't really belong in this thread since it is about HM3 and doesn't really have anything to do with the built in 2+2 hand history converter. Can you PM me your email address so we can continue this discussion via a support ticket email?
