Your PMs aren't turned on, and you can't turn them on - you need to have some patience, and read the sticky in this forum that says to read it first (for good reason).

Yes, violations of the rules in the trading thread are taken quite seriously, as they're there to cut down on people being scammed. The infraction expires in 6 months, so it shouldn't be a big deal if you're more careful about not posting in a thread that has [First post is "MUST READ" for Posting Rules; or receive points] in the title, without reading it first.

In general, it's often a good idea to take some time to read some stickies, FAQs, and other useful threads here before jumping right in and posting.
