For my
dog blog, I'll often start composing a post weeks or even months in advance, and update that draft periodically until it's time to post it. For example: I've been planning our big Labor Day weekend 5-MLB stadium road trip since March. Most of what I blog is markup heavy, and I like to "batch" doing that markup ahead of time, then later add the content (so to speak) in a more timely manner.
