Anybody else have any thoughts on it? It is ridiculously annoying having banners put in between messages. Makes the site look trashy and more like a click bait site then anything else.

Does 2+2 search out add servers that completely blow? Seems like it would be difficult to find servers that suck this bad without deliberately trying.

Need to put a block on Video inventory shown through the 160x600 placement on the right hand side of the forum feed. One specific video at the moment for "hefsite" is showing in that placement at the moment but is sized completely wrong and dramatically affecting site performance.

Yea. It keeps reloading the video over and over. Every time it reloads it clogs/freezes the running of the forum.

This issue is still ongoing by the way, it makes browsing near impossible. Would be really appreciative if this could be looked at.

I watched a science youtube and when I came back to 2p2 there was an add for the ubiquitous Michio Kaku's science shows. I really hope that this forum isn't spying somehow, that would be way out of bounds.

Seriously, is anyone looking into site performance issues?

For me the site has been essentially unusable for the past week or so. It constantly hangs and hangs and hangs and hangs.

I am guessing that it has something to do with new ads but whatthehelldoIknow.

The ads I get on my end are Google ads, which use cookies. Pretty much any info Google has access to will shape the types of ads they serve you.

I have a Mac and can use a private browsing window if I want to. I'm somewhat relieved to learn that the forum won't load for other ppl also bec I thought my 6 month old machine was not performing well or that my cable service was bad.

with technology progressing at such an exponential rate, these days you need to buy a brand new computer every 2 months. at least that's what my guy at Best Buy told me
