You clearly didn't have a clue as to what you were talking about.... I was talking about a game that was already over for an hour, and you tell me not to count my winnings before its over. Trying to be witty, but it turned out you lack reading comprehension.

Not saying you are wrong, but is there evidence to back this up? I'd be interested in seeing data that going 5-for-9 in a certain subset is predictive of future performance, or at least predictive enough to be useful in handicapping.

Again.. you lack simple reading comprehension.

I think that if theres one batter on a team that is 5-9 vs. SP, but rest of the team doesn't have any at bats vs. him... its completely irrelevant.

But if there's 6 or 7 batters on the team that are a combined 75-160 against him... its a very relevant handicapping tool. Its safe to say that they would beat up on the pitcher.

The 4 batters in that game I used as an example were a combined 21-49 with 7 HRs vs. Chen.... Yes, i think thats significant. Its not everything.. its not that important... but it is something to keep in mind when capping that game, no?

Managers must also value that stat, since there are many times where you hear a person getting a day off because he is "1-15" vs. SP. Today, Kurt Suzuki is 1-19 lifetime vs. CJ Wilson. Isn't it safe to say he either won't start today, or if he does start...he probably will struggle based on previous history?

That makes more sense than what I thought you were originally saying. Thanks for clarification.

Re: MicroBob (SportsBetting Mod) Needs to go (take 2)

Brian - This really isn't the place to discuss your ideas on sports handicapping. We have a forum for that. And if you would like to engage with people who find flaws in your arguments as well as others who agree with you then that is the place to go.

If you can refrain from being all "you lack reading comprehension issues" and "I know a hell of a lot more than you. Where are your picks? Thought so. You suck" with multiple posters.

Irrespective of the consistencies of your arguments and whether you are right or wrong, the above was sure a hell of a lot better of a response to somebody pointing out obvious sample-size issues as opposed to how you actually did respond back in the thread:

Thank you....I did not know that

-----------------------------------------

Guarenteed I know a hell of a lot more then you about betting mlb... but hey thanks can you point me to your picks? No?

You see, those are really bad posts. Oddly defensive towards someone who did not do anything wrong. "Posting picks" does not make you better than somebody else and it's a strange argument to make.

As for your other nonsense posts that you just made towards Dodger. Ummm, haha? You seem kind of high-strung.

Did you have problems like this on SBR at all? you had mentioned the screenshots that you posted. Why did you post them? Were others giving you problems there too? (sorry, I don't feel like looking into it...I only read your embarrassing chat with the site-rep that chronic linked to on there).

If I say "Boo!" will you get defensive and call me the worst mod ever?

Lol microbob, how is that chat embarrassing?
The manager of 5dimes decided to close Brian's account because he deemed Brian as a winning bettor.
that's embarrassing? Wow keep it going, you're on a roll.
Keep showcasing your trolling habits in this thread for e1 to see

Re: MicroBob (SportsBetting Mod) Needs to go (take 2)

Chronic, the whole chat. His behavior. The bragging that he makes more than the rep guy. The cussing. Don't remember it all. Would have to look again. But it gave me insight that Brian's performance in 2+2 is evidently notuncommon for him. Hence my questions about how thongs are for him over at and. Does he still post there? Why prove himself there with screenshots? Was somebody asking?

Etcetc.

Re: MicroBob (SportsBetting Mod) Needs to go (take 2)

cronic,

what is your incentive in helping Brians picks get attention. you're putting in way too much effort for this purely to be abuot some rando cappers picks than you can get same picks from somehwere else. It seems obvious to me you have vested interest in his picks and image. You were also the first poster in his thread adn then you're "little bro" shows up basically right after.

so what gives... and don't say you and your lil bro are HUGE BRIAN FANS

My only vested interest is to keep Brian posting picks because I have 1000$ bet with poogs and the fact that Brian has made me money when I have followed his picks. And I feel like I should defend him
the way that MB handled that thread irritated me

Hilarious stuff, awaiting more gems. Chapter 3 from the Book says I'm right and your wrong fwiw. This has to be Cinch's 2nd account.

This isn't even in the same ballpark as being as bad as me having to start the Niss complaint thread. I don't get the MicroBob hate personally. Other than being unqualified, I have no problem looking past it for the most part. I realize I don't speak for everybody though

Chronic, you and your bro were obvious Brian fanbois before the bet.

Also, his picks are available on twitter and wiper is keeping track of them for you. So that kind of makes your complaint even stranger unless I'm missing something. Did he stop posting picks for his cheerleaders on twitter? You can follow his picks and make all the money off him from that.

Additionally, for the 800th time, he is welcome to post his picks on 2+2. I will be happy to open his thread for him, or he can start over and begin a new thread, or he can post in the chatter or mlb threads if he prefers. 4 different places...just for him. No other poster would be allowed to do that. Or a 5th way, he can pm his picks to you or even me and then have either of us post them.

I'm bending over backwards for him. Go for it. Post all the winners he likes. He has never been directed to stop.he has been encouraged by several to continue.
