My settings are to accept cookies until they expire. Also remember passwords is enabled. I am using FF 12.0

Op, as the timing out appears to be specific for your computer, while others fix the problem with putting an X in the Remember Me box to the right of Username and Password, maybe the Computer Technical Help forum can help you: forumserver.twoplustwo.com/48/computer-technical-help/
