fights sell seats. I don't have any analytics so please correct me if I'm wrong but based on casual observation it looks like NVG traffic has been roughly tracking industry trends. I put up a strident comment that contained content of interest, albeit wrapped in abrasive language. It was taken down. I'm probably as libertarian as the owners so I won't waste time arguing about imaginary rights I may have as a guest, run your biz how you see fit. BUT from a strategic view taking that type of comment down is a mistake at this point imo.

It's the type of sht that drives engagement. Is there a specific infraction there? Because objective criteria for judging when a post has crossed whatever ethical threshold the owners would bear are important for both them and their users.

I don't blow money in the pits but I do blow a lot of time on twoplustwo. Degens are the raw material of this industry and internet junkies like me deserve our occasional comps too, especially if the comps reward us for driving engagement. Let one slide?

Also its worth remembering the internet was commissioned by the former US Department of War under the aegis of DARPA. It was made for fighting. Fights are exciting. Fights are talked about. And they sell seats where churches don't.

Usually defendant. Are you supposed to pm them first? I got no idea who mods what, never had post taken down before.

So the post was in NVG? If so, I think the reason you don't know who the mods are is because you haven't tried too hard to figure it out. I mean, I guess I can see missing the list of mods at the bottom of each forum, but if it was in NVG that would mean you missed the NVG moderation sticky at the top of the forum as well. No biggie, but you might find you get help/questions answered quicker if you took a couple of moments to have a look around.

I'll merge this thread into that one for you if it was an NVG issue.
