Yeah that hijack makes the thread unreadable, but it's not like there anything actually going on right now. That thread should be locked up until something happens and replaced with an "argue about random theories about PS/FTP" thread.

As soon as you lock that thread NVGtards start creating more. The thread is going to get bumped frequently with or without this Chinamaniac thing and I see it as the lesser of two evils. Without it the thread will probably descend into pointless whining and the occasional 'cliffs?'.

Quick question on that...don't mean to derail or anything but if a rule has not yet been decided on signatures and posters are still allowed to use them. Why did i receive 35 infraction points for not breaking a rule? Then when i PM'd the mod i basically got told that it's his domain and he can do whatever the **** he likes.

Obviously 2p2 going offline for two weeks disrupted that timeline. It is being discussed, but the focus the last couple of days has been sorting out the stranded posters.

I can't really speculate on the motivations of another mod. I do know that OOT is it's own universe and is best treated as such.

Yes but what i am asking (since a good few mods seem to have descended upon kevmodes thread for lol's) is would you infract someone 35 points for NOT BREAKING A RULE of a thread/forum?

I mean given that you've been using your signature in NVG I think you know the answer to that question.

However, what I would do is irrelevant in OOT.

I understand that must be frustrating, but each forum has different mods that run their forum their own way.

Bad news - it's only temporary

Good news - it's 10 days

Damn I just came here to post how much I hoped it wasn't a case of a mod forgetting to select temp- or self- option and it was a good and true ban
