Finding out why posters have been Banned? - Page 10 - About the Forums

What happen to Kirbynator? with over 40,000 post he has been contributing intelligently for the most part from what I've seen for years.
Is the ban permanent?

It's a temp-ban.

Kirbynator decided to make multiple posts in the GoT thread which clearly states in the title that no bookreaders are allowed to post in the thread.

After getting temp-banned, Kirby used an older account of his and again posted in the GoT no-bookreader thread.

The temp-ban was extended.

There were a total of six poster identified in the no-bookreader thread who were self-acknowledged bookreaders. All got banned depending on the content and quantity of their posts.

Out of principle. l'm part of this forum, also as a whole.

Having reading people getting mass-banned for posting in a "non-reading thread" isn't harmonizing with my values, however fun it may seem in this special case.

I consider it my masterpiece when I made a spoilerish GoT-reference in a 24 thread (but only recognizable to bookreaders), which caused SenorKeeed to spell it out and, in turn, resulted in him being temp-banned.

AFAIK, he hasn't posted in that thread with his older account. He posted in other threads, and that got the ban extended.
