page comes up white, about half the time. using both google chrome on my laptop and safari on iPad

in the developer tools i see 403 error. so it seems like some kind of proxy authentication issue or a certificate issue?

It looks like style sheet and avatar paths are being repeatedly broken then fixed, so they're directly editing the live site while trying to do whatever it is they think needs doing.

Edge teams up among the dysfunctional. Only Playbig2000's avatar not showing on this page though, and no white version first when I logged in. Maybe problem is being fixed, slowly?

I have always seen all avatars before.

Sorry folks, I was out of town until about 2 hours ago. I can't see any specific problem when I load the site. Please provide a specific URL that exhibits the problem for you along with the browser and operating system and I will attempt to track this.

Also if you can pinpoint when you started seeing this problem it may help.

In my experience it's intermittent and can happen on any page. I get it a lot on my phone but not much lately on my browser, but just now I got it:

and then when I went to post that image, I got it again:

Firefox 54.0 (32-bit) on Windows 7, but I've also gotten it in Chrome
Phone is Chrome on Android don't know what versions

I don't get the entire page thing (although I might have a few times when it started); for me it's sporadic avatars.

I'd say it started a day or two before this thread was created. I'm using Windows 10 & Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (32-bit).

Edit to add: To show how sporadic this is - Chuck's avatar on that post (and all others on this page) is now fine for me after a reload.

I have never seen this and when I look at the developers console in Chrome I do not see any of the errors shown. The next time you see the error please PM me with the contents of the developers console (as was in at least one of the images above) as text. The image seems to indicate proxy blocking but I am not aware of any issues. Having that from multiple sources may help me to track it down.
