well you're in luck because apparently no one cares.
Are you assuming that because no one responded in the ~24 hours since I suggested PMing the mods, or had you already done so and not mentioned it here?

why would PMing mods privately be more productive than the actual community discussing whether such forum has merit?
You said no one cared, so I was wondering if that was based on something - apparently it wasn't.
Regardless, it was a suggestion to help you along; if you don't want to take it for some odd reason, you don't need to. And you're comparing two things that aren't happening - you aren't having a discussion with the community that would care about this sort of thing. You're having a conversation with people in ATF who see your thread, some of whom will be a small subset about the community that cares about DFS. If you think this is in some way more productive than PMing mods to have them join in the conversation, carry on I guess.
The only was a new forum gets created is if the mods of the Fantasy Sports forum are on board, and chances are they read their PMs more often than ATF. I don't think those mods come here much.
I just thought this was the place for discussion of adding additional boards.
It is, but:

PMing Mods is probably a waste of time seeing as there's a sticky at the top in fantasy, and the topic has come up. Like I just posted this a few weeks ago:
"Any more thought given to splitting DFS/full season?
I'm looking at a $10,000,000 $20 entry fee NFL game on Draftkings week 1
$1,000,000 $3 entry fee NFL game
a $3,300,000 golf event
Fanduel has a $5,000,000 and a $1,000,000 NFL tournament week 1
Isn't this big enough for DFS to get it's own forum? I guess it's not a big deal except I miss some DFS stuff that isn't in the mega threads because most of the stuff outside of the mega threads is mostly totally off topic."
and got no response, but to be fair it really isn't a big deal, and Larry is right in that the forum is mostly useless anyways. The only reason I care at all is sometimes there's a small news tidbit posted that I miss because I don't care that your flex is a tough call this week with the bye in your deep 9 man friends league for bragging rights and a 12 pack.
I do find it funny that DFS is reaching poker boom heights and it's mixed in with that garbage on 2p2. RG does a lot of good things, but at the end of the day they are partners with the sites, NOT THE 2P2 OF DFS, like 2p2 could be. I think 2p2 could have had (and maybe still could have) a bigger role than a place for a few guys to bbv about DFS.
