Re: Official TwoPlusTwo Hand Converter Thread
I did a hand conversion for hand review session where there was no flop but the converter calculated a rake at a PS 6 max .50/1.00 limit of .25
It should be zero. The original text file had zero for the rake.

Re: Official TwoPlusTwo Hand Converter Thread
Is there an option to have the pot calculated with rake in it?
i.e. I raise to $10, Btn calls $10, SB and BB fold. Pot is $23 according to DC converter, $21.85 according to PokerStars. So when I bet $16 or $17 I don't get flamed as much for underbetting

Hi Neuroxic,
Unfortunately non hold'em tournament hands are currently on the "do not work" list mostly due to their rarity.

Re: Official TwoPlusTwo Hand Converter Thread
Having some issues with the converter. I get most of my hand histories from Holdem Manager, which uses a standardized format in the form of Partypoker's hand histories. The converter works when I use hands from FTP, but when I input Prima hands, none of them work. Example of both:
Prima:
Quote:
***** Hand History for Game 1939348328 *****
$200.00 NL Texas Hold'em - Friday, March 28, 12:37:59 2008
Table Hope Eternal (Real Money)
Seat 3 is the button
Seat 1: MP ( $198.00 )
Seat 2: HERO ( $389.00 )
Seat 3: BTN ( $180.30 )
Seat 4: SB ( $195.01 )
Seat 5: BB ( $285.97 )
Seat 6: UTG ( $106.88 )
SB posts the small blind [$1.00].
BB posts the big blind [$2.00].
Dealt to HERO [ Jd Qc ]
UTG folds
MP folds
HERO raises [$8.00]
BTN folds
SB folds
BB calls [$6.00]
** Dealing Flop ** [ 8c, 6c, Qh ]
BB checks
HERO bets [$12.00]
BB calls [$12.00]
** Dealing Turn ** [ 2h ]
BB checks
HERO checks
** Dealing River ** [ 7h ]
BB checks
HERO bets [$34.00]
BB calls [$34.00]
HERO shows [Jd Qc ]
HERO wins $106.00 from main pot

*Note I changed all the screen names to positions, the hand history shows all screen names. (My SN isn't outed and I'd like to keep it that way, but will send the makers of the converter any HH that they want)

Any idea why these seemingly exact same histories don't work?

Are you in WYSIWYG mode? Try clicking the little A/A thing in the top right corner of the editor. You need the background to be white to get the converter to work.

Re: Official TwoPlusTwo Hand Converter Thread
Hey thac,
Well the only significant difference I see in those two histories is the Prima one doesn't have the " ** Dealing down cards ** " line which is necessary. Does that not come out of HEM for Prima hands? I do find it a little odd the HEM guy would use Party poker format as his standard considering Party hands are always screwed up (when there are all-ins or returned bets etc. the math just never works and the HH doesn't clarify it at all for you, whereas with Stars or Full Tilt they are always uniform and handle those situations gracefully).
You are welcome to email me more hands or discuss it with me at converter@deucescracked.com

Re: Official TwoPlusTwo Hand Converter Thread
It would be nice if there was a specific option to enclose results in spoiler tags or not. Most of the time I include results it's because I want people to see them without clicking a spoiler button, and editing out the tags for lots of hands gets to be a pain.

I agree -- and it would be easy to code the option. But for now, just copy the whole series into Notepad, use find-replace on the spoiler tags and voila. Copy back into a post.
