Hey Jeff,

The problem here has nothing to do with that hand in particular, its apparently a CSS bug with the Opera browser. I tried with Opera and got the same problem as you. The solution for right now, silly as it is, is to click in the center of the screen (above the DC ad) where the "Convert hand history" button is supposed to be. It's showing up all the way on the left and not performing correctly when you click it there. I am able, however, to convert hands just fine in Opera using the method I just described, so I don't think its too serious, though very annoying for the Opera users out there I'm sure.

It's on the to do list to get fixed.

told you guys this would be a good idea.

scoffers.

I have only 2 suggestions/complaints:

Can we have a 4-color deck option?

Do the blinds have to have the .00? i.e. 2.00/4.00? Looks kinda silly.

Very picky, I know :P
12-05-2007 , 11:38 AM
Death, I have the same problem as Jeff but I'm not using Opera. I'm using IE ver 6.0, and I move my cursor around the area around 'convert hand history' button, the 'use players name' seems to highlight. And when I click in those areas, except the 'convert' button, the toggle will change from 'use position' to 'use player names'

Hence I believe when I click 'convert' button, the options will jump to 'use player names' first and convert the HH.

Remedy? Anyway thanks for the great work!

Hi Mrage,

The colors of the card icons are controlled by the 2+2 available graemlins/smileys, if you want to suggest to a red admin to add some smileys that are hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs in four different colors in an ATF post or something, I'll be happy to use them.

If you are concerned about the blinds having the decimal digits, you must be a higher stakes player
I'm sure the guys playing 0.05/0.10 NL like them rather than 0/0. Yes I could code in an exception when the digits are "00" but I think the continuity there is useful. If people think this is an issue I'm happy to re-visit.

Hi maverick,

Well, that's a bit disappointing to hear, but good to know. We are working on the next iteration of the javascript that will hopefully address some of these CSS issues. Sorry I don't have an exact timetable because I'm not the one coding it (I have no idea how to make websites look pretty, just the nitty gritty code)

I play on UB (FR Limit) and I tried the coverter.
A. History shown after conversion began from the flop (no preflop data including Hero's hand)
B. No identification of poster as Hero

FWIW this is exactly what I did with the Leggo converter, and its fairly trivial to add and I suggest you do so. (simply a matter of replacing the blind strings... '.00' -> '')

I assume the answer is simple....but, i get this error message:

Invalid hand header: Full Tilt Poker Game #4401863848: $11 $1 Sit -- line 1

thanks

Hey DMMx69,

Your hand is one of the ones that will be fixed by the next patch (the Sit and Go bug). It's nothing you're doing wrong but has to do with the hand history itself and we're aware of the problem and are fixing it.

thanks,
Rob

i'm still having problems with FTP SNGS, could you make a post in STTF whenever you get that bug fixed? We'd all appreciate it a bunch. thanks for the work guys.

A previous post seemed to indicated that the Stars tourney bug was fixed, but I just got:

Quote:
Invalid hand header: PokerStars Game #13679435974: Tournament #69378157, $22 $1 Hold'em No Limit - Match Round I, Level I (10/20) - 2007/12/06 - 00:59:55 (ET) -- line 1
Just letting you know - thanks for the inline converter. Once the bugs get ironed out, this will be supersweet.
12-06-2007 , 03:41 AM
Hi pokercurious,

That tournament hand (and ones like it) is fixed now. I hadn't yet seen one with "Match Round" in it until now. I'm a cash game donkey but I'll get all these tournament headers sooner or later!

I'm thrilled to have the hand converter, but hate how it doesn't show the board cards after the action is finished:

Someone can suck out with a straight or something (an example I just saw) and you don't even notice what happened.

Hi Self Made,

This was a problem specific to Bodog hand histories - I've fixed it now, that hand of yours should work fine and correctly show the cards after an all in.
