Just want to bring up some of demetri1978's behaviour and how it relates to 2+2

The abuse he dishes out to a guy that clearly doesnt deserve it is truely contemptible. Its all there in the thread. He also posted ALL the guys personal details and pictures of his wife in several places on the Internet, inc 2+2, which I notice has been removed.

In this one the guy in it is very likely in the wrong but through demetri's abuse he somehow manages to create a big wedge of doubt and sympathy for him.

I really question the sense in letting a character like this continue to advertise for stakes through 2+2. Its obvious he is massively unstable. Whether this translates into real life or its just a keyboard warrior thing remains to be seen but does 2+2 really want to take that chance?

He will also likely try to claim I am 'stalking' him and have it in for him because I applied to his stake 3 years ago and he didnt reply.

I can assure you this is not the case. I immediately picked up another stake and I only really started to take notice of him again after reading the death threats in the Joker thread and being completely blown away by how someone could talk like that. My posting history is there for everyone to see, I have had no interaction with him at all until posting in the Joker thread.

I want to make it clear I dont know either of the two people the threads are about and am only posting this now because reading the chatlogs in the Asylum thread made me so ridiculously angry that I think it deserves to be looked at more closely. Why would 2+2 want to be associated with a person like this in any context?

what are the rules on 2p2 to open a staking forum? for what reasons in the past have staking forums been closed?

this demitri character is clearly an unstable person and consistently displays the behavior of a psychopath. after reading his chat logs with horses no1 can come to any other conclusion.

2p2 is putting its members in a position to owe large amounts of money to a crazy person. that needs to stop.

how does management know that dimitri will not meet some1 through 2p2 then cause physical harm to them over a debt? maybe even kill that person? because he hasn't done it already?

I have been a member for a long time now and have contributed plenty to the community

honestly i cant imagine what has happened in demetri's life that he could feel so mad and driven to sit and pound out all of that utterly disgusting, demoralizing, belittling and soul crushing stuff and for so long, relentlessly and without any feelings of remorse. he still finds little to nothing wrong with anything he did or said. i think hes proud of himself really, even after the community has given profound feedback that it was very wrong, he thinks he is right and 99% of everyone else are weak idiots.

there is obv a lot of hate and anger. if i had to guess, its like what i would imagine a street thug-like former coke distributor turned legit poker backer would sound like; poor grammar, edgy, superiority complex/needing to display brute force to show dominance/control, as if it were a poker gang. perhaps he was dropped as a child or is clinically ill; sees and talks to make believe people, delusional, confused, severe anxiety, etc.

in any case, whatever the matter or issue with this individual may be, regardless his story-- i think he is a potentially dangerous person to himself and others if he continues backing. its time to drop the hammer to protect people from this community.

i fully expect to receive a sincere death threat for stating my opinion here, and the pure fact that i have that expectation of another member is quite frankly my concern.

You can't treat people that way man, what if he could'nt take it ? being called a failure a bad dad saying the wife should leave him. What if the guy took it to heart and killed himself ? FFS think before you type, take a step back and consider what your saying to a human being. Just imagne a family looking at his computer and the stuff you said put the guy over the edge how would they feel ? how would you feel ? think about it.

Take a step back look around you, Different people can take different thing's but everybody has a breaking point, You let your emotions get the best of you' employing a stable manager is a very good idea, A guy thats courteous respectful and above all professional will be a good asset to your setup. You still have the final say on horses and who join's but leave the people stuff to your manager and work with him, learn to deal with your emotion's. Just because you can take flak ect.. does'nt mean other's can it's not the way life works.

You simply do not threaten someone's family or well being to "let off steam," especially when you are or were in a business relationship with them. Even if they are in the wrong or are crappy horses (as could very well be the case), resorting to blackmail, extortion, or other threats - empty or not- belies any "good standing" you think you have.

What parts of the chat logs are you disputing?

Just from your posts alone I have no idea why anyone would want to enter a business relationship with you, especially when you will go far out of your way just to ruin them (yiur words) if/when things go south.

Outting scammers and thieves and those you feel have wronged you is one thing, but to go about it the way you do...? I guess that's why I'd make a ****ty businessman.

i did not sign this guy up over 2+2 and i have backed 300 poker players and a lot have been through 2+2

It's the fact you threatened to go after families that is disturbing. Not that you berated or outted scammers or bad horses.

There is a line. The fact that you can't see it is a big part of the problem.

Demitri, posting someone's personal info all over the internet and bombarding his family with messages labelling him a thief and a scammer is amazingly brutal; you should only be doing this when it's an undisputed case of theft and the player remains a threat to the poker community or the general population. Using it as a weapon with which to beat a guy into complying with your demands is dangerously close to extortion, and though I mostly find your angry rants amusing it's your threats regarding the player's private life that I find repulsive. If you were just berating him many of us would just shrug it off as another "demitri gonna demitri" moment.

I know you think I have some sort of personal vendetta against you; this really isn't the case. I've always considered you to be an amusingly angry moron but ultimately one of the good guys, and though your behaviour in the jokueris thread was pretty ugly I recall posting in support of your position. I've no doubt you'll throw a reference to my 2009 fake death episode back in my face, and that's not unreasonable as I don't deny my own scummy behaviour back then. But honestly, you just can't treat people the way you've treated this guy and not expect some sort of backlash. Those chatlogs are ****ing disgusting and you need to take a step back and think about how all this affects people's perception of you and ultimately costs you money.

Also, 2+2 ought to forbid the posting of personal information in disputed cases. In fact I'm sure it's a (largely ignored) condition in the OP of the negative feedback thread that personal info and photos are forbidden; either way it ought to be enforced and the community needs to stand up to people like Demitri who seek to bully and intimidate vulnerable people with threats to their personal security.
